Abandoned seal pups rock up at Scarborough SEA LIFE Centre

Three seemingly abandoned seal pups have rocked up at Scarborough SEA LIFE Centre after being rescued all within the space of a week.

Named after rock stars Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix and Jethro Tull, all three seal pups are currently undergoing treatment in the Seal Rescue Centre – an onsite seal hospital at the SEA LIFE Centre.

RUSSELL BRAND’S COMING TO MADAME TUSSAUDS LONDON

Madame Tussauds London has announced it is creating a wax figure of one of Britain’s most flamboyant characters - comedian, broadcaster and actor, Russell Brand.  The exceptionally eloquent performer, famous for his big words will join a host of other famous faces in the A-List Party area of the world famous attraction in September.

On becoming immortalised in wax Russell said, “"Now that I'm monogamous I want to live vicariously through wax Russell, I insist that he's placed next to wax Helen Mirren and I hope they melt into one sexy blob".

David Cameron Double Unveiled at Madame Tussauds ‘Coalitions’ of friends, family and workmates can save 15% when booking online

14 July 2010. Madame Tussauds London has unveiled a wax figure of the new Prime Minister in a specially created Downing Street set. Mr Cameron is featured in a typically relaxed pose, wearing a dark Paul Smith suite teamed with white shirt and teal tie. The figure cost £150,000 and took four months to create; the Prime Minister was involved in its creation, sitting for sculptors at Porticullis House.

Alton Towers Resort to stage ultimate fireworks experience Groups save 32% by booking online

14 July 2010. Alton Towers Resort is to hold the ultimate fireworks event later this year with what is set to be its biggest and best fireworks display ever. The extraordinary event has been planned to celebrate the launch of the Resort’s ultimate new rollercoaster, TH13TEEN, and to mark the 30^_th birthday of the theme park. It will run over three nights on 5^_th-7^_th November.
