Come face to face with African Dwarf crocodiles at Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre
New for 2010
Come face to face with African Dwarf crocodiles in a secret ancient temple. These sleek and sinister reptiles grow up to 5 feet long and hail from West Africa, where they are hunted as a culinary delicacy. Deforestation reduces their natural habitat year on year, and as a result they are becoming increasingly endangered.
This will be the second major new feature in successive years, following the launch of a penguin facility in 2009…already a firm favourite with guests. The Centre’s mighty ocean tank complete with sea turtle and tropical sharks is the centrepiece of more than 30 stunning aquarium displays.

Loch Lomond SEA LIFE Aquarium’s colourful tropical ocean tank takes on a new complexion this year with the arrival of a spectacular Green Turtle…transforming an already enthralling display into Turtle Reef, a shimmering kaleidoscope of sub-marine marvels patrolled by one of the marine world’s most ancient and magical creatures.
Located in the renowned Drumkinnon Tower facing up Loch Lomond itself, this attraction also houses a wide range of both freshwater and marine aquarium displays, and is home to playful otters Rona, Shona and Mona.
