When is the Contact Centre open?

We’re ready and waiting to book your Group Fun Day almost every day of the year from 9am to 5pm (sorry it’s not later, but we do need our beauty sleep!). Oh, and the number is 0871 222 6944 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras).

How many people do we need to get group rates?

Probably fewer than you think because groups start at just seven people. The actual number varies by attraction, so check out the individual attraction pages for those you’re planning to visit.

Remember, groups can be a mixture of adults, children and seniors, and you’ll still get great group rates as long as the total number of guests in your group is equal to or more than the attraction requirement.

Are there different prices for different size groups?

Good question! At LEGOLAND® Windsor, group prices are tiered depending on group size: from seven to nine people; 10 to 19; and 20 or more. While at THORPE PARK group prices are tiered for sizes seven to nine and 10 or more.

Throughout the year there may be special offers for smaller group sizes. So, before you book, check the website and, even better, sign up to receive our regular news and offers, bringing the latest and greatest deals straight to your inbox.

What’s the price difference between group and standard tickets?

This varies from attraction to attraction, but you’ll always pay less in a group, when you book in advance. Check out the savings on each attraction’s offer pages – and remember, the savings highlighted are per person, so multiply that by the number in your group and you’ll see it all adds up to a fantastic deal.

Are there special group rates for disabled guests?

This varies depending on the attraction, so check out the individual attraction pages for the latest information.

Do we get free tickets for group leaders?

Yes, free tickets are available for group leaders at selected attractions. For instance at all SEA LIFE centres and Sanctuaries as well as Warwick Castle, you’ll get one free place for every 10 tickets you buy. Check the offer pages to find out more.

Do we have to book in advance?

Yes, you need to book in advance to take advantage of our fantastic group rates. But if you do turn up at an attraction on the day without booking you could still get in, so check out the situation when you arrive. Just one thing, while you won’t get the special group rates, you’ll still have a whole lot of fun.

How late can we book and when do we pay?

You know, it really makes sense to book as early as you can because our attractions are very popular and can get busy, especially during holiday periods.

But if you are booking later, you need to do so and pay at least five working days before your visit. That way, we can get tickets to you in the post and you can go straight to the main entrance on the day, avoiding possible queues and allowing more time for fun.

Still counting down? No problem, subject to availability, you can book up to 5pm (with a credit or debit card) on the day before your visit, then pick up your tickets at the attraction.

How can we pay?

It’s your choice – Debit or Credit Card, BACS or Blue Chip company cheque.

We are not sure how many people are coming.

In this case, you can make a provisional booking. Then, call us on 0871 222 6944 at least five working days before your visit to confirm the exact numbers and pay for your group.

Can we amend our group booking?

We like to be as flexible as possible, so if you’ve made a provisional booking you can make changes up until the time when you’ve confirmed and paid for your group.

If you want to add extra people (and you know what they say about ‘the more the merrier’) you can call us and do this up until 5pm on the day before your visit.

When do we get our tickets?

If your booking is confirmed and paid for at least five working days before the big day, we’ll pop your tickets in the post and you’re all set to go straight to the attraction turnstile and avoid queues at the entrance.

If it’s less than five working days, we’ll send you an email confirmation and you can collect your tickets from the Advance Booking window on arrival at the attraction.

And now for the exception that proves the rule. For Group Fun days at SEA LIFE centres, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the Dungeons, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre and the Alton Towers Waterpark, we’ll always send you an email confirmation for you to exchange for your tickets.

Do tickets have to be collected at the same time?

Yes, to keep things nice and easy, the group leader or just one person in your party should go to the Advance Booking window and pick up tickets for the whole group.

Can I upgrade from a group ticket to an Annual Pass?

This is a fantastic idea and gives you a whole year of fun at the attraction of your choice, for less than you may think. It’s easy to upgrade on the day – just drop by the attraction’s Merlin Annual Pass room or at the Admissions Desk and they’ll take care of it.

Can we get a refund on unused tickets?

Sorry guys, but because our group rates are so special, we’re not able to refund the cost of any tickets once you’ve confirmed your booking and paid for it in full.

What is the cost of phoning our Contact Centre?

Calls to 0871 numbers are charged at 10 pence per minute at all times from a BT landline. Calls from mobile operators and other networks may vary.

Scouts/Guides/Youth groups: How do I receive my 2 free risk assessment tickets?

Scout, Guides and Youth groups can get access to 2 free risk assessment tickets. Just ask for your 2 free risk assessment tickets at the time of booking. After your payment has been processed, your tickets will be sent to you or will be available for collection at the attraction. Your risk assessment tickets must be used before your visit.
